Carol Zacharias Obituary
Carol E. Zacharias, 77, of East Toledo passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at home surrounded by family. She was born on March 22, 1944 in Toledo, Ohio to Edward and Ruby Bevard (Cross). Carol was a graduate of Waite High School, she retired from Namsa. Carol loved spending time with her family at the cottage, she also loved to travel. Carol loved her animals as well as the neighborhood strays. She will be dearly missed.
Carol is survived by her children, Sheri (Mark) TenEyck and James E. Zacharias; stepdaughter, Sue (Brian) Wyss; grandchildren, Lori (James) Gray, Amy Jones, Dustin TenEyck, Eric (Brittany) Zacharias, Corey Zacharias, and Dylan Zacharias; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Dontae, A'marion, O'shea, Corey II, Lilly, Blair, Brooke, Brian, and Baylee; and her loving partner, Lonnie Mangus. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph G. Zacharias; brother, David James Cross; and former husband, James R. Zacharias.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 10-12:00 p.m. where a memorial service will take place at 12:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Toledo Humane Society.
