Cecilia Martin Obituary

Cecilia Ann (Korchnak) Martin, 78, passed peacefully on April 18, 2025, in Sylvania, Ohio, surrounded by love.
Born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Cecilia lived with a courageous spirit and a generous heart. She built a distinguished career in secretarial and administrative work, where her talent for organizing and uplifting others shined brightly.
At home, Cecilia was the heart of her family - a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who filled every gathering with warmth, laughter, and love. She found beauty in nature, joy in music, and gratitude in each passing day. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and joy will live on in all who knew her.
Cecilia is survived by her husband, Steven Martin; daughters, Christine Kelso and Susan Martin; grandchildren, Maxwell Kelso and Eleanor Kelso; her sister, Margaret Krasik; and many beloved family members and friends.
A Funeral Mass celebrating her life will be held on May 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. A reception at St. Joseph Family Center will follow Mass.
Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Joseph Church in Sylvania, Ohio, or the Hospice of Northwest Ebeid Center.
