Charles Anderson Obituary

ANDERSON Charles C. "Charlie", "Chuck", "Chas", Anderson, age 77, of Napoleon, died Friday morning, September 25, 2009, at the Veterans Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. His Legacy...He was the son of Mary Bernice (Krohn) and Charles C. Anderson born February 3, 1932, in Pandora, Ohio. At age 12 he lived with his aunt, Janet and uncle, Dale E. Snavely and their children. Chas graduated from Holgate High School in 1950 and attended the Ohio State University. He was stationed in Berlin with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He had a life long career in the construction field, building residential and commercial buildings and supervising construction with construction and architectural firms. He was a licensed auctioneer and realtor. On August 13, 1976, he married Nancy (Bonar) Wright. Chas was a member of the Holgate United Methodist Church, a past church trustee and Sunday school superintendent. He was a member of the Rufus Putnam Masonic Lodge, Ohio Auctioneer Association, National Auctioneers Association, Ohio Horse Council, and Zenobia Shrine and Mounted Patrol. His Family...He is survived by his wife; his sons and their families, Steven and Liam Anderson of Florida, Michael, Melissa, Christian and Mackenzie Anderson of Michigan, Matthew, Michelle, Jenna and Kevin Anderson of Virginia and Paul, Michael and Christopher Anderson of Ohio; a half sister, Betty (Owen D.) Newell of Ohio and many nieces and nephews. His Farewell Services will be published at a later date.
