Charles W. "Bill"



Charles W. "Bill" Loeb, 75, passed away on January 3, 2014, in The Toledo Hospital. He was born in Toledo on April 25, 1938, to Mildred and Charles Loeb.

Bill proudly served his country for four years in the U.S. Navy. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Chrysler. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of eighteen years, Lana; brothers, John Loeb and Jim (Donna) Loeb; stepchildren, Sandy (Dave) Gargac and Vicki (Tony) Hampton, as well as many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Robert Loeb.

Friends are invited to visit after 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 10, 2014, in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Ave. where services will begin at 1:00 p.m. His interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity. To send online condolences, please visit

i knew Billy as kid growing up in the neighborhood. he was always upbeat with a great attitude, sharp witted and skinny and a good athlete! may, in his passing, bless those who were close to him. tom gallagher
