Charles S. NEPTUNE

NEPTUNE Charles S. Charles S. Neptune, age 72, of Toledo, passed away on July 7, 2010, in the comfort of his own home after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Pitman, New Jersey, on November 13, 1937. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in 1956 and the University of Toledo in 1960 with a BBA Degree. Charles was employed at Allied Chemical, Lasalle's, Riverside Hospital and retired from Illinois Tool as Credit Manager in 1999. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. He especially enjoyed coaching his five children in baseball, football and basketball at St. Patrick's of Heatherdowns where he was a founding member. Charles is survived by his one true love, wife of 47 years, Diane; children, Charles (Cindy), Christopher, Patrick, Michelle (Matt) Kinnee and Brooke; 5 grandchildren, Justen, Blake, Shane and Grant, Mike (Jessica) Malczewski son of Charles and Cynthia Neptune, as well as, his faithful companion, Heidi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Louise Neptune. Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. and Monday from 4-8 p.m. where a Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday beginning at 9:30 a.m., in the mortuary, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's of Heatherdowns Church at 10 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
