Charles Wright Obituary
Charles "Chuck" Richard Wright, age 76, of Northwood, OH, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday, October 4, 2024. He was born in Toledo, OH, to Carl and Dorothy (Blackaby) Wright on February 3, 1948. He married his wife, Jean, on December 31, 1997, and they spent many happy years together. Chuck retired from Toledo Edison after over 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, boating, fireworks, and many camping trips together as a family, especially the annual Fourth of July camping trip. His greatest legacy is his family, whom he loved dearly, especially his grandchildren, who fondly called him "Papa."
Chuck is survived by his wife, Jean; his children, Lena (Bob) Biondolillo, Tina (Paul) Emerick, Ashley (Paul) Tippey, Brandon (Katrina) Recny, and Sara Recny; his grandchildren, Steeve, John, Archer, Belle, Klohee, and Zohee. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Road in Oregon, on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a memorial service held at 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
