Sweet Boo, what an absolutely beautiful tribute. We didn't get to spend nearly enough time with Chris, so reading about him through your eyes was especially touching and moving. We could feel your love and pride in every word, and even with the "lack of fluff", it is clear how much he added value to the world around him in the realms of law, family and community. Please know that our hearts are full of love and sympathy for you, Molly, Nick, and all of Chris's siblings. May fond and loving memories of Chris, as well as lots of time spent with Roe in the future, bring you great peace and joy. What a treasure for Chris to have had you by his side for over 35 years!

I lived with Chris and Steve Hylant my last qtr at OSU in 1971. Chris was such a great guy and you knew he had your back. He tried to talk me into going to Thunderbird but l didn’t want to take a language. I should of listened to Chris.

Boo, Both Lorrie and I are shocked and saddened by this news. We haven't lived in the Sylvania area for many years but still value our memories of our time there, and the friendships we made. In all that time you and Chris were among the kindest, nicest people we had the pleasure of knowing.
You, Chris and Molly will be in our prayers.

Chris was a wonderful guy. We met many years ago; we were on a swim team; I was a so-so swimmer and he was an outstanding diver. I have memories of him doing amazing things off the diving board. We attended Christ the King grade school. He was a year ahead of me. Later in life we reconnected at Owens Illinois. We worked on assignments together as internal auditors. We had an assignment in Venzuela following the kidnapping of the chief officer. Chris was amazing. He spoke the language and was the head of a team of auditors.
I was envious of Chris. He had a close relationship with his brother Mike. They were a team. Very cool.
He was a classy guy. Confident, in control and just supper cool.
My best to you and all those who knew and loved Chris.

My prayers and sympathy to Chris' wife, Boo, daughter, Molly, and all the family. What a wonderful guy, loved and appreciated by so many. I remember Chris particularly as a member of St. Ursula's Board of Trustees and his dedication and faithfulness to the mission of the school and his sheer love for the business to which he attended. His heart was always in the right place and evident to all who worked with him. God's blessings and may the fond memories carry each one through this difficult time.
