Cody

Cody Clyde, 85, of Oregon, OH passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice Residence. He was born on February 16, 1931, in Williamsburg, NY to Frank and Mae Clyde. Cody served in the US Army, during the Korean War. He worked as a truck driver with the Teamster's-Local #20 for many years. Cody enjoyed traveling, especially to Mexico, Texas and Arizona. He wintered in Mexico with his wife, Shirley for many years where they helped the poor children and elderly of the many towns. Cody was known as a “wise guy” and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his children, Cody J. Clyde, Coann (David) Brown, Lynn Fox, Kim Eid and Tracey (Noel) Christen; stepchildren, Timothy and Randy DeLuca Sr.; grandchildren, Jennifer, Kelly, Kasey, Kristy, Christopher, Micah, Leah, Jacob and Joshua; step-grandchildren,
Randy, Felicity, Macy and Sydney; and 6 great-grandchildren. Cody was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley; former wife, Rose; sons, Wade and Allen Jay; daughter, Colette and his brother, Wade.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd., in
Oregon on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, from 2-8 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
