Daniel Lee Sr. "Happy Dan"
Daniel "Dan" Lee Marcinkowski, Sr. 64 of Temperance, MI, died Monday, March 31, 2014 in his home. Born May 8, 1949 in Toledo, OH, he was the son of John D. and Sabina (Naparstek) Marcinkowski. Dan was employed for the Chrysler (Jeep Corporation) for 27 years, retiring in 2005. He was a member of the U.A.W., Local 12 in Toledo. Dan loved riding his Harley-Davidson, spending time with family and friends in the garage and helping anyone who needed his big heart.
His is survived by his loving children, Merinda (David Tippett) Marcinkowski, Daniel (Danniel) Marcinkowski, Carla (Mike Wesley) Marcinkowski and Jasin J. Marcinkowski; grandchildren, Timothy, Lizabeth, Donovan, Dani-Lin, Kevin, Amber, Brett and Luke; great-granddaughter, Riley; brothers, Thomas and John (Sue) Marcinkowski and former wife, JoAnn Carter; niece, Chrissy Lighty and nephews, Bobby and Johnny Marcinkowski. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Nightingales' Harvest, 4727 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, OH.
