Dear Kina family,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved. Mr.Kina, was my 6th grade teacher at P-D-Y (York) elementary back in the early 80´s, and will forever be remembered as my "favorite teacher." As a child, I recall being scared about having a "male" teacher for the first time, but he literally made going to class and learning (yes, even math) interesting, fun. In between our lessons, he would play his favorite Beatles music (against our will at times) and point to me singing and laughing, loudly..."GET BACK LORRETTA! That summer, he even took the time to write me a letter wishing me luck in junior high school, encouraging me in my studies, reminding me to have fun in life and to keep going. I will forever hold fond memories of "my favorite teacher" in my heart, and consider myself a better person for having known him. He was a good man with a kind soul, and may he rest in eternal peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ until we meet again.
A former student,
Lori (Creps) Demaline
