I was a student of Mr. Covert Back in the late 1970s in his advanced biology class. He is one of those teachers that "will always stand out "in your memory. Rather than simply lecturing TO his students he spoke WITH them, listening to them, interacting with them. He was simply a good human being and my understanding of the word OSMOSIS (diffusion through a semi-permeable membrane) is due to him. Thanks Mr. Covert!

I was in Mr. Covert´s biology class in 10th grade at Lamphere High in 1966 and he taught me how to drive. He was a wonderful teacher. Everyone loved him. My sincere condolences to his family
