Diane Adele Harner Robarge born to Paul and Leta (Duncan) Harner on December 26, 1948 in Toledo, OH went to heaven on November 1, 2021 surrounded by her loving daughters.

Diane was a 1966 graduate of DeVilbiss High School. She attended the University of Toledo where she graduated in 1970 with her Bachelor of Education.

She was proud to be a teacher. She started her career teaching Spanish in Toledo Public Schools and Notre Dame. She then taught accounting at Owens Technical College for 15 years. She finished her teaching career as the Sylvania Schools Adult Education GED coordinator/GED teacher from 1988-2009. She taught almost 2,000 GED graduates and was named NWO ABLE Teacher of the Year in 1999.

She was an active member of St. James most of her life where she held many roles through the years such as Sunday School teacher and superintendent, choir member, VBS director and much more. Her hobbies included playing cards and games, bingo, and playing the flute in her younger years. She loved to travel and going out to eat. Her biggest passion, however, was her daughters and grandchildren, which she was very proud of.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Paul Robarge; parents, Paul and Leta Harner; grandson, Landon Ballard; and son in law, Jeffrey Boros.

She is survived by daughters, Rebecca Boros, Michelle (Toby) Thielen, Susan (Duke) Ballard; grandchildren, Marissa (Austin) Blanco, Tanner Boros, Kayla, Emily, and Samantha Thielen; and sister, Gloria Brighton; as well as brother and sister in-laws; and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St James Lutheran Church Toledo, Ohio.

Visitation will be on Thursday Nov 4, 2021 at Walker Funeral Home (5155 W. Sylvania Ave) from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. James Lutheran Church (4727 Sylvania Ave) Friday Nov 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation beforehand at 12:00 p.m.
