Dominic Francis "Nick" Capriotti

September 26, 1958 - September 11, 2023

Dominic Francis "Nick" Capriotti would have been 65, on September 26, 2023. He passed away at his home in Winchester, California, on September 11, 2023. Nick was born on September 26, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio, to his parents, Bobbye and Angelo Capriotti. He graduated from Rogers High School, class of 1976.

He is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Capriotti Ruffolo, Gina Capriotti Haskins, Becky Capriotti; nieces and nephew, Laura Fairman, Mike (Elyssia) Haskins, Amanda (Brendan) Tegeder; grand nieces and grand-nephews, Alanna Kyer, Oliver Fairman, Annabelle Haskins, Leo Haskins, and Brooklynn Tegeder; ex-wife, Tamara Lopez; and stepsons, Travis Lopez, and Jared Lopez; stepmother, Esther Castillero Capriotti; stepbrothers, Dan (Chris) Castillero, Mark Castillero; and many cousins.

Nick was preceded in death by his parents. A private memorial service was held in Southern California.

Nick was passionate about football. He played football in high school. His favorite team was the Cincinnati Bengals. He loved to go fishing in Lake Mead, Mexico and Baja California. He was a member of Temecula Moose Lodge 261. Nick lived in Southern California where his career included working in project management for commercial building companies, and owning his own building and garage door companies.

During this Super Bowl week, we say goodbye to our dear brother who left us too soon.

I loved this guy, we had years of great times together in business and personal time, golfing, tuna fishing, Cabo, dinners, on the lake, great times, I was searching for him just to say hi, sorry to see him go so young. I will truly miss him.
