I worked with Don at Montgomery Ward and he mentored me in 1984-1985 in my first management position as an Assistant Department manager in the men's department (I'm now a co-director of a multi-million research center). Don was always kind supportive, friendly, and made the workplace enjoyable. He shared with me the importance and value of creating a team among yourself and the people that you supervise. I'm glad to have known him and honored to have had him as an early career management mentor.

Paula and family, I was sorry to hear of my cousin's passing and wish I could have come in person to grive with you. I had a family emergency and had to fly out of town but will call you soon. I notified our cousin Laurie Brentlinger Martini in Florida.

I remember Don, he was a coworker of mine at UT. Here is Don: trustworthy, inquisitive, funny, hard working, old fashioned honest, and a prized worker. Rest in God's peace, Don.

To the family and friends of Don: I was very saddened to hear of Don's passing. Don and I worked at the University of Toledo for many years. Don was a wonderful person and I'm sure you already miss him like crazy. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Mrs. Boehm,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your husband and friend. Please know that he is wrapped in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is at peace. I wish I could be at the Memorial Service Thursday evening, but I am teaching and there is no one to sub for me. If you are in need of anything, a hug, someone to talk to who has walked in the very same shoes that you are or just an ear, please do not hesitate to call.
