Donald PROND Obituary

PROND Donald V. Donald V. Prond, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away January 30, 2010, in the Perrysburg Care & Rehabilitation Center, after a long battle with brain cancer. He had just celebrated his 50th birthday on January 13, 2010. He attended Calvin M. Woodward High School and worked many years in the restaurant business. Don was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Jennifer and sister, Donna. He is survived by his daughter, Heather (David) Johnson; grandson, Patrick and step grandson, David; mother, Alice Prond; father, Donald Prond of California; brother, Thomas (Barbara) Prond, sister, Mary (Terence) Szych; nephews, Samuel Prond, Matthew Szych; his longtime companion, Norleen Diebert, and her two sons, Joshua and Jacob. A funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2010, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. also on Tuesday. Dear Norleen, I am so sorry for your loss. I know you have had a rough time this past year. Just remember that God has been with you all the way. And Don is with him now.

We are so sorry about Don. My dad really enjoyed having him for a room-mate at Harborside. Remember he is no longer suffering. You were so great to my dad.
