Dorothy Grace "Mimi" Halderman

HALDERMANDorothy G. "Mimi" Dorothy Grace "Mimi" Halderman, age 90, formerly of Maumee, OH, died Sunday morning December 24, 2006. Mrs. Halderman was born in Swanton, OH, on November 24, 1916, to Ernest and Ida Clark Ladd. She married John Halderman Sr. on May 18, 1935. He preceded her in death. Dorothy was a member of Maumee United Methodist Church. One of her greatest joys in life was attending her grandchildren's sporting events in Maumee. She is survived by her daughters, Jane A. Archambeau of Maumee, OH, Cindy L. Morris Applegate of Holland, OH and son, John H. Ingrid Halderman Jr. of Montpelier, OH; grandchildren, David Archambeau, Michael Jackie Govito, Maria Govito John Escobar, Michael Jacob, Joseph Jacob, Kimberlie Jacob Thomas Campbell, Holly Govito Goldstein, Peter Govito, David Applegate, Tamara Applegate Richard Hawkins, John A. Halderman, Julie Halderman Paul Brown and Heather Halderman Hess. Also surviving are 11 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Ernest E. Ladd, Helen Bennett and Richard and Daniel Ladd. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; great - grandson, Christopher Applegate; son-law, Francis Archambeau; brothers, Alfred and Clarence Ladd and sisters, Louella Fawcett and Virginia Pierson.
