I remember well, the friendship my dad (James Old, Sr.) had with Ed. Also my dad and Ed spent a lifetime working together at the Lake Front Docks as electricians. Ed Sulier's family are in our prayers these days.

Condolences to the Sulier family...I did not know that Rosemary is gone. As I recall, she suffered with arthritis badly...W had a lot of fun on Jeanettee St. and St. VdeP church and school...But thats life May they rest in peace...Jeanette St. as never the same , after the people moved out...

Dear Uncle Eddie, your legacy will be diversified and far-reaching. I respected and admired you, not because you were my Uncle, but because you always put the wellbeing of others before your own and you felt what was important was not the clothes on a man’s back, nor the money in his pocket, but what was in his heart was what really mattered . As your nephew, I felt proud and truly blessed to have had a man of your high moral and ethical character play such an integral part in my life. I will fondly reminisce the times we shared as proud members of the extended Sulier family. I will never forget a life- lesson you taught me, “Our Hope Is In God”…John: 11, 25 & 26.
Rest in Peace, Uncle Eddie …You will be missed!!!

I saw Ed just last week & he made my day (along with many others over the years). He was still being himself & making me laugh, he put many smiles on my face over the years- from him just being around when Jackie & I were little girls to him telling me just last week that we were supposed to get married =) I still can't quit smiling when I think of some of his memories! To think that he was 91 & lived such a great life up til the end is amazing. He was such an amazing guy and will never be forgotten. Your family has been like my own over the years, you have all been in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be, I love you all. RIP Gramps
