Dear Mary and Donna,
I have not seen you since we were little and having fun together at Aunt Martha and Uncle Joe's home, but I want to express my heartfelt sympathy. I remember what a vibrant woman your mother was whenever I had the opportunity to spend time with her. I have been asking Cindy and Jan how you are doing because I know this has to be a tremendous loss for you. Just remember she is still smiling at you and loves you.

Aunt Eileen - we'll all miss you and we WILL think of you often. I can still hear your voice and your laugh, and hope to keep that in my memory forever. We'll save a chair for you for next Christmas dinner, as always - this time maybe you can bring Uncle Dan and my dad too. God bless you and welcome you.

I am so saddened - and very shocked to hear of Eileen's passing! We had just very recently - talked on the phone about getting together in Florida! Your mother was very generous with her art and had donated pieces to the Central Catholic Dinner Auction over the past few years. She would invite Father Denny Hartigan and I up to choose a piece from her collection - a very difficult decision since all were amazing! Then we would enjoy a nice lunch at her favorite eatery (where everyone knew her on a first name basis!). All of Central Catholic will pray for the repose of her soul. She was a vibrant, wonderful woman and she will be sorely missed! God bless and comfort her daughters, grandchildren, and all her family! Mary Pierce
P.S. I don't know if her brother will be able to travel, but I know that she was thrilled to have received his letter recently!

Friends for 55 years...

Dear Mary & Donna:
I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved mother! She was such a light to everyone, with a heart of gold! I was blessed to find a series of her painted notecards in my mother's desk after her passing in April, 2011. She was a treasured friend for so 30+ years to my mother, MaryLou...I'm grateful for what they shared. You and your families will be held close in thought and prayer in the difficult months ahead. Always remember how much your mother loved you!
Fondly, Ann (Andrew) King
