Elaine Clark Obituary

CLARK Elaine Elaine Alice Clark, age 71, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born June 17, 1938, in Manchester, Connecticut. She married the love of her life, Ora Clark on November 10, 1958, in Brattleboro, VT. He preceded her in death on December 26, 2008. Elaine spent the last two months of her life enjoying it. She had the experience of living at Windsor Lane Health Care in Gibsonburg, OH. There she was able to socialize and she enjoyed sitting out in the sun. Elaine is survived by her loving children, Robin Minkowski, of Tennessee, Theresa (Michael) Vasko, of Sylvania, James (Lola) Clark, of Maumee, Brenda (Russell) Norris, of Wauseon, Carol (John) Oberdier, of Toledo and Sharon (Ernie) Tagle, of Toledo; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and sister, Louise (Larry) Moss, of Florida. The family will receive guests Tuesday from 2 - 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Toledo Humane Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio. With tearful eyes we watched you suffer And saw you fade away. Although we loved you dearly, We could not make you stay. Each time we see your picture, You seem to smile and say, "Don't cry, I'm in God's keeping, We'll meet again someday."

I don't even know how to print right now I have such a lonley feeling, I go to pick up my phone just to check and see that youre ok and do you need anything, I have sooooo many tears , I can hardly even type at all, so my condolences to all my sisters and to my one very special brother. TO MOM and DAD I LOVE AND MISS YOU BOTH SO MUCH but I also KNOW THAT YOU ARE BOTH IN GODS WORLD AND LIVING A VERY WONDERFUL LIFE TOGETHER AND SOME DAY OUR CHAIN WILL BE BACK TOGETHER. Mom,

Words can't explain the loss that I am feeling right now. I keep hoping that the phone will ring and it's you saying "what are you doing" or "are you busy". The only thing keeping me going right now is knowing that you are with Dad, and you have no obstacles to overcome. RIP and remember you will always be in our hearts. Tell Dad I love and miss him to!
