Emerson Durdel Obituary
Emerson A. Durdel Sr. age 78 of Toledo passed away Friday March 30, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. Emerson was born in Holland, OH on January 30, 1940 to Walter and Esther (Risch) Durdel. He was a retired forklift driver from Dohler-Jarvis. Emerson enjoyed working and creating things with his hands. He also enjoyed telling jokes with his many friends. Emerson had a habit of having a newer car every few months. His biggest enjoyment was his family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Emerson is survived by his wife of 48 years, Loretta, children Kathy (Tracy) Ware, Ginger Krieger, Ruth Ann (Josh) Baldwin, Roy Shoemaker, Brenda (Don) Renneker, Jeffrey (Donna) Veroneau, and Emerson (Ramona) Durdel Jr., 30 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends in the Urbanski Funeral Home, A Life Celebration Home, 2907 Lagrange St., Toledo, OH on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., where funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. Burial services will take place on Friday at 1:00 p.m. in Elliston Cemetery, Graytown, OH.
