Esther Katzman Obituary

KATZMAN Esther Esther Katzman of Toledo, OH died Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at the age of 89. Born in Fort Dodge, IA the daughter of Louis and Anna Spoone, she married Abe W. Katzman settling in Toledo, OH in 1956, when the family moved from Sioux City, IA. Her memberships included Congregation B'nai Israel and its Sisterhood. Surviving are her husband of 70 years, Abe W. Katzman; children, Lannie (Roanne) Katzman, Sylvania, OH, Lynn Friedman, Las Vegas, NV, Pamela (Peter) Dewitz of Charlottesville, VA; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Sunday, October 7, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. in the Robert H. Wick/Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 North Reynolds Rd. Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff of Parkcliffe Community for their special care the past nine months as well as the nurses and volunteers of Heartland Hospice for their dedication to making my mother's comfort and dignity their first priority. Memorial tributes suggested in the form of contributions to Congregation B'nai Israel, Heartland Hospice or charity of the donor's choice.
