I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Gene. I knew Gene when he was the Head Athletic Trainer during his stint at West Point. He was such a fun loving person and I am sure will be sadly missed by his family and friends. I am honored to have known him. May he rest in peace.

IT WAS WITH MUCH SADNESS THAT WE READ THE OBITUARY OF GENE. WE HAVE VERY FOND MEMORIES OF HIM WHILE HE WAS HERE IN HIGHLAND FALLS/WEST POINT. SUCH A FUN, NICE GUY. WE HAVE BEEN PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY HIS OCCASIONAL VISTS TO LAUREL LANE WHEN HE RETURNS TO HIGHLAND FALLS SINCE HIS RETIREMENT. PLEASE ACCEPT OUR SINCERE CONDOLENCE. IT IS A LOSS FOR ANYONE WHO KNEW HIM.. IF THERE IS TO BE A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR GENE ANYWHERE NEAR HERE WE WOULD APPRECIATE KNOWING. FONDLY,
JIM and MARGARET McDONALD
