Eva N. (Brewer)



Eva N. Cooper, 79, of Toledo, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014, at Orchard Villa. She was born January 18, 1935, in Lawrenceburg, TN to George E. and Audie B. (Collier) Brewer and married Johnnie A. Cooper on May 20, 1950. Eva received her Nurse's Aide Certificate while living in Florida and had worked as a cashier with Big Lots where she retired. She was a gifted artist who loved painting, gardening and cooking for her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Johnnie; children, Jerry (Patricia) Cooper, Marsha (David) Taylor, Todd Cooper; grandchildren, Jamie, Heather, Kelly, Jerry (Marianna) Cooper; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret (Bill Harmon) Connolly, and brother, John (Marie) Brewer. Eva was preceded in death by her parents and sons, Donnie and Ronald Cooper.

Family and friends may visit from 1-4 on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon where the Funeral Service will begin at 4 p.m. Burial will be private at Lake Twp Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be directed to the family.
