Frances Blank Obituary

Frances "Pete" Blank, age 97, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 in her residence. She was born in Toledo to Orton and Frances (Kellermeier) LaZatte. Frances was a 1942 graduate of Whitney High School, and had worked for the former LaSalle's Department store until 1978 as a sales audit specialist. Frances was very talented in her baking, and making crocheted afghans. She enjoyed travelling and crossword puzzles. She was very active at St. Francis de Sales Parish in the altar society as a room mother, in the lunch room and a Girl Scout Leader. She was also active with the Central Catholic High School Band Boosters. Frances was special kind, caring and generous throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dorman; son, Dennis; grandson, Patrick; sisters, Patricia Curtiss and Rita Rowland; and brother, Ramon LaZette. Frances is survived by her children, Bridgett (Tom Richey) Blank and Colleen (James Thomas) Kwiatkowski; sister, Charmaine Napierala; and fur babies, Lola and Lucy. Her request for cremation with no services has been assisted by the Urbanski Funeral Home, 5055 Secor Rd., Toledo, Ohio.
