Frank BURZYNSKI Obituary

BURZYNSKI Frank Frank Burzynski, 58 years, of Temperance, MI, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011, in Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. He worked 23 years for Gerity Schultz, and previously worked for Michelin Tire, Exel, and Team Systems. The son of Richard and Joan (Mason) Burzynski he was born January 29, 1953 in Toledo. If you looked in the dictionary under "nice guy", his name would be there. Frank enjoyed bowling and was an avid golfer. He umpired and was a member of the Bedford Umpire Association for 8 years. Frank put his great personality and sense of humor into everything he did. There was nothing he wouldn't do for you. If you were with Frank and didn't laugh and have a good time, it was your own fault. He was a fan of the Packers, Tigers, Notre Dame, and Philly Flyers. No matter how many tears we shed now, they can't equal the tears of laughter we had with him. He is survived by his loving daughters, Nichole Burzynski, Nina Burzynski; granddaughter, Lucie Frances McLaughlin; siblings, Tom (Tina), Philomena Barilloux, Joyce (Ron) Coon, Joseph, Samuel Burzynski; many loving special nieces and nephews; father-in-law, Robert L. Campbell; ex-wife, Nancy (Michael) Rede, and special friend and neighbors, Ken (Linda) Kruzynski. Friends and family may visit on Saturday from 12 noon until 5 p.m. in the Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI. Cremation will follow. Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation in lieu of flowers. After the visitation the family will be hosting a celebration of Frank's life. To the entire family - may I extend my condolences for the world losing a great guy. Tina called to tell me and I really appreciated it. All the things in the obit are all true. We all had good times together many years ago and lots of laughs in our "much" younger days. I've said a little prayer for Frank and please know in your hearts, I would have been there in person to pay my respects if I only lived closer.

Frank always had a big smile and an easy laugh, even as a little boy. I have wonderful memories of "Frankie" growing up on Wyman Street. What a beautiful way to remember him. To all of the Burzynski family, and especially to our childhood friends Sam, Joe, Joyce,"Mena", and Thomas... may God's peace and comfort be with you all.

Uncle Frank, we have had so many great memories that I will hold on to forever. Nicki, Nina, Tom, Tina and the whole family -

We are so sorry you have lost a very special part of your family. Frank was a great guy, a great friend, and always good for lots of laughs (even almost right to the very end whether he knew it or not). I know he would rather you be laughing now than shedding tears, but give yourself time to grieve. Hold each other close. At the end of the day, it will be Frank saying "Quit'yer crying and get me a beer!"

We love you all and pray for you to find comfort.
