I have missed you from the moment I halted music school. You are such an inspiration and may those who come across this know that I keep Mr. Feltner, he didnt like me calling him that, in my heart forever and ever. He made me love and appreciate music much more than I ever thought to know and gave me the gift of the violin. I miss you every day Gary and I hope that your music plays on in the hymns of the skies and the wind. You are an angel so let the sky be your stage now. Love you.

I worked with Gary from 2001 to 2006 at The Dallas School of Music. He was a wonderful and inspiring colleague, a talented musician and a pleasant person to be with. I still remember the conversations with him and his wife about fine dinning and his adventure in Chinese food.

Rest in Peace, you will be missed.

Gary was my music teacher in Dallas for over a decade. He also taught my wife and older son briefly. I will cherish the musical and other discussions we had over the years. Discussions that were enriched by Gary's knowledge and more importantly, his humanity. Gary was a gentle soul and a true gentleman. My deepest condolences to his family. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I went to High School with Gary, and every one of my memories of him center upon what a nice guy he was, and how talented musician. I remember him as a gentle soul. We took up violin around the same time in grade school: it did not take long to see who the real musician was(it sure wasn't me!). My heart goes out to his family and loved ones. I know this leaves a huge hole in your hearts. I'm so deeply sorry.

I remember Gary fondly from our days in the Toledo Youth Orchestra. We played together for several years and I looked forward to seeing him every week. He was such a gifted violinist; he inspired me and challenged me to be the best I could be. He used to make me laugh so hard I'd cry and my cheeks would hurt...such a dear and caring soul. Sending my heartfelt condolences to the family. You raised a great human being.
