Gene Crawford Obituary
Gene Crawford, age 63, of Monclova, OH passed away January 7, 2021 unexpectedly at home. He was born April 10, 1957 in Toledo to Cecil and Betty (Tilley) Crawford. Gene was a 1975 graduate of Whitmer High School. He was employed with Supreme Bumpers for 25 years and also Graham Packaging for more than 18 years. Gene was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast. He was a Cleveland Browns, University of Michigan and Detroit Tigers fan. Gene enjoyed woodworking, but most importantly spending time with his family.
Gene is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Sue Crawford; mother, Barbara Crawford; children, Gina (Scott) Erdman, Amy (John) Townes and Nick (Christine) Crawford; grandchildren, John Townes, Joshua Townes, Emily Townes, Emma Townes and Jace Crawford; great-granddaughter, Evelynn Townes; grand-dogs, "Sampson," "Petey" and "Cash;" sister, Terri Crawford and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be private.

Sue, I am so sorry for you and your family at this sudden and tragic loss of your beloved Gene. It was always a pleasure to see you & Him at Shawns. I would see more often during the daytime as we tried to beat Mr Keno. He will be missed dearly. I will cherish my times with Gene. They are memorable.
God bless and my prayers will be for Gene and you and your family.
