Geneva Wozniak Obituary
Geneva L. Wozniak, 89, of Toledo, passed away at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at her home.
She was born July 24, 1935 in Fenton, MO to Lester and Irene (Strickland) Cureton. She married Aloysius Wozniak and he preceded her in death on September 23, 2017.
Geneva formerly worked at the Sylvania Savings Bank, and in her leisure time loved to do China painting.
She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (Dale) Youngs and Julie Woznaik; two grandchildren, Michelle Youngs and Stephen (Courtney) Youngs; three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Benjamin and Harrison; and four siblings, Louetta (Pete), Dorothy Ray, Raymond (Terri) Cureton, and Debbie (Danny) Toth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aloysius; parents, Lester and Irene; siblings, Glenn, Ruby, Bertha, Joe, and Hilda; and granddaughter, Theresa.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025 at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit Street, Toledo, Ohio 43611.
Geneva will be privately interred in Resurrection Cemetery, Toledo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Online expressions of sympathy may be made by visiting
