Gladys MOLINE Obituary

MOLINE Gladys Marie "Peg" Gladys Moline, age 93, of Toledo Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2010, at the Swan Creek Retirement Village. She was born to Mary and George Hemstreet in Clare, Michigan on April 21, 1916. Gladys was a florist for over 40 years, 30 years working for the former E.B. Warren Flower Shop in Maumee Ohio. She was a member of the Maumee Business and Professional Women's Club for over 40 years and the LaFemmes Lunch Club. Gladys was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred Moline; sister, Inez Pudway, and step daughter, Joyce Miller. She is survived by her step daughter, Rose Smith of Cape Coral FL; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grand-children; 3 great-great-grand-children; sister, Threace Johnson; brother, Jack (Romagne) Hemstreet; sister-in-law, Joyce Jones, and many family and friends. Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd.. on Friday January 22nd from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the mortuary on Saturday January 23rd, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. I've known Gladys for a long time, all the way back to EB Warren florist. She was a very good friend to my mom. We were members of the Maumee BPW. My sympathies to her family.
