Sorry to hear this as I was brought up in late 1960´s on Lagrange street. I´m 64 years old and never met him but I have one of his original pool sticks he made. I got this from an older friend of mine that played pool with Joe. His name is Bob Springer and hunger out at the Lagrange street pool hall back in the day. Thanks Joe Thomas I love the quality of your pool cue. Never met but know you are great person. Tim.

I spent many years around a pool table with "Toledo Joe". Most of the time I was racking and he was breaking. I look forward to celebrating with all of Joe's friends and family on Friday.

It's impossible to imagine not hearing Uncle Joe's voice again... telling those amazing stories with his colorful and interesting characters. Love him so much. He was true to himself always.
