Helen Cotner Obituary
Helen Louise Cotner, 98, of Maumee, formerly of Lima, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018, at Addison Heights Health and Rehab Center in Maumee. Mrs. Cotner was born on April 12, 1920, in Auglaize County, Ohio, to James Robert and Cornelia (Haas) Crist and they precede her in death. On June 1, 1943, she married Dwight K. Cotner and he passed away July 6, 1962.
She is survived by her son, Jim (Kathy) Cotner of Whitehouse, Ohio; her grandchildren, Jim (Bethany) Cotner, Jr of Whitehouse, Michelle (Nick) Osting of Toledo; her great grandchildren, Henry Cotner and Hattie Osting. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Dixie Cotner of Lima and two adoptive granddaughters, Wendy and Chris.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, December 20, 2018, at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Bucher, officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends and family may call on Thursday, December 20, from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Shawnee United Methodist Church. Online condolences can be left at www.siferd-oriansfuneralhome.com.
