Howard Rosenbaum Obituary

Howard Rosenbaum

Howard Rosenbaum, 90, passed away on January 12, 2024.

Howard is survived by his two children, Steven and Lisa (Soverinsky); daughter-in-law, Mamatha Rosenbaum; and son-in-law, Mark Soverinsky. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen in May of 2023. Howard was the proud grandfather of 5 grandchildren, Rebecca, Mara, Ellie, Milan, and Maya. He is also survived by his sister, Natalie Julius. Howard was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather and loved to be surrounded by his family. Howard loved his synagogue, Congregation B'nai Israel, and volunteered his time selflessly there. He was a talented sculptor and artist and worked for many years at Goody's Truck parts, where he was a highly valued employee. It seemed like everyone in Toledo knew Howard, as they all felt that he was "family". He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Services will be held on Tuesday January 16, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at the Congregation B'Nai Israel 6525 W. Sylvania. Ave. Sylvania, OH. 43560. Interment will follow at Beth Shalom Cemetery, Oregon, OH.

The family asks that contributions in his honor be sent to Congregation B'nai Israel at https://www.cbitoledo.org/contributions/online-contributions/.

Arrangements by the Robert H. Wick/Wisniewski Funeral Home. (419) 535-5840.

Good by my friend. I would bump into Howard while walking my dogs through the neighborhood. I'd stop and talk to him, and he would pet the dogs. He was a nice guy. I was always happy to see him, and I know he enjoyed the company, especially the dogs! RIP Howard.
