Ian, it's 2025 and guess what, I still think about you man. I actually told a story to my coworkers at work about you. Some things have changed, I went back to school and earned my bachelor's degree in IT. We were both huge computer nerds, so I know you wouldn't be surprised by that. I still think about how quickly time has flown by since you left this world. I'm 41, almost 42! You were 25 when you left us. It's a damn shame! I really wish you were still here. I'll never forget you!

It has been 5 years today since Ian passed and I have missed him every single day. My brother was an amazing man and the world is not the same without him in it. I happened to come across this site recently and I had no idea this guestbook was still here, I hadn't checked it since shortly after Ian's death. I just wanted to acknowledge everyone that has sent their thoughts and prayers to my family and I, and I wanted to say that it means so much that people continue to think about Ian and remember him. Thank you all so much for the love and support.

I did not have the honor to know Ian at all.. But two weeks before the accident my mother and I went to Walbridge Apartments looking to rent.. And Ian was the one to show us the apartment.. When we walked in he was laughing and joking with us because his dog had gotten out.. I was thinking this is a young guy with a lot of ambition and extremely outgoing! My prayers go out to your family in your time of grief.. Only meeting him once I could tell he was one of a kind.

You dont even understand how much of a friend Ian was to me. I have known Ian since I was a freshman in highschool and that was in 1998, I met Ian through AOL lol. And from there we became good friends, I always wanted to fly out to Ohio to visit Ian but never had the chance or just put it off. Now I wish I didnt, Ian was a great guy and always was willing to help me out when I needed it, he even sent me a pc game called Command And Conquer(which we both loved) through the mail so we could both play. Ian I am going to miss you man, I never got a chance to come and meet you but I feel like I have always known you my whole life, I dont know why things like this happen but I know your in a good place and just remember your family loved you and your friends loved you too, even the friend that never got to come and see you. I know your family are prolly reading this thinkin who in the hell is this guy, but I know more about them then they know about me through our phone conversations and aim conversations. Ill miss you brotha, I just wish I would of got my butt into gear and flew up there!!!!! IM GUNNA MISS YOU IAN! R.I.P FRIEND!

Herb and Diane, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of such heartbreaking sorrow. The last time I saw Ian was at a get together at your house in usual style with you, Wayne, Clay and Ed jamming on the guitars - Ian with Renee and all the kids on the golf cart, having an absolute blast - as always! I will never forget those memories.
I wish you peace and grace during your time of grief.

I am saddened at Ian's untimely passing. He was an excellent manager here at the Walbridge Apartments. I was especially impressed with the friendly and joking way he always treated my daughter when she would have to ask him to let her into the building when she would forget her keys. He will truly be missed. Your family are in my prayers.
