Jack R. Rinker

Jack R. Rinker, of Ft. Myers Beach, Florida, formerly of Point Place, Ohio passed away on October 27, 2018. Jack was born on April 30, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Florence Rhodes Rinker and the late Bertram H. Rinker and grew up on the family farm in Rossford, Ohio. After graduating from Rossford High School, Jack, along with his brother, Bob, served in the Marine Corps 8th Infantry Battalion during the Korean War. Following his discharge, he worked in the automotive industry as an engineer at Johnson Controls. Jack was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Rinker and James Rinker and his sister, Bernice Rinker. He is survived by his nieces, Robin McIntyre and Stacey Parcher and their families. Jack loved boating and, while living in Ohio, was a member of Bay View Yacht Club. Jack was a life long ham radio enthusiast; he also enjoyed flying remote control airplanes and was everyone's favorite dance partner. There will be no visitation or services. Friends are encouraged donate to a charity of their choice in Jack's memory.
