I was a friend and neighbor of Jim's for several years in Crestview, Florida. He had such a quick wit. I will always remember him with fondness and joy as he always had my sister Shirley and I in stitches when we discussed anything.
He had a great sense of humor and a kind heart.
My sister Shirley Cozad went home to the Lord on June 4, 2024 and I know they are continuing to share lots of laughter. Jim was a fighter to the end with his pancreatic cancer. I prayed that he would beat the cancer but God had other plans. I'm sorry I did not get a chance to say a final goodbye to him.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family (especially his mother) and friends.

My sincerest condolences to Jim's family on his passing. I hope he went in peace without too much pain. He was a sincere pleasure to have known and was always so kind in conversations to Tom and I. Now they can catch up on lost time.

So sorry to hear of Jim´s passing... far too soon and I recall Jim´s sense of humor and his positive attitude. We grew up together in the Point, and attended St. Francis together, and his smile remained the same throughout the years. My prayers are with the family at this difficult time.
