Janie Main Obituary
Janie L.
Janie L. Main, 60, of Lambertville, MI, died Saturday, December 5, 2015, in her home. Born November 30, 1955, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Richard W. and Helen J. (Hausman) Morse. A graduate of Whitmer High School, she married Douglas S. Main on September 18, 1999. Janie was coordinator for Lucas County Board of Mental Retardation for the past 29 years. Janie was truly one of a kind. She had a heart of gold and made an impact on anyone who came into her life. Janie and Doug spent the past 21 years together as husband and wife, best friends, soul mates and shared their love for the lake and boating. Her family was the most dear to her heart. She loved spending the holidays together and went out of her way to make them extra special for everyone. Her five grandchildren best knew her by grandma Daisy.
Janie is survived by her loving husband, Doug; children, Corey (Keri) Harris, Stephanie (Jason) Schuchard, Leighann (Rob) Schroyer, and Rachel Main; brother, Joe (Darlene) Morse; sister, Judy (John) Metzer; grandchildren, Zach, Chase, Brody Harris, Robbie Schroyer, Caroline Schuchard and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Thursday, December 10, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman), Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Whiteford Union Cemetery.
