BLAYZ Jeffrey Allen Jeffrey Allen Blayz, age 51, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Swanton, Ohio, died unexpectedly in his home Thursday, July 5, 2012, of natural causes. He was born October 2, 1960 in Toledo, Ohio to Charles and Carol Sue (Hiser) Blayz. Jeff was a graduate of Swanton High School and The Ohio State University, where he obtained his degree in turf management. He moved to Orlando and was a groundskeeper for a couple golf courses in the area. Later, he worked successfully as a self-employed machinist. He loved being around the water and was an avid golfer, gardener, and fisherman. Left to cherish his memory is his father, Charles Blayz; sisters, Brenda Blayz, Jennifer Riebesel, and Beth Blayz; nieces, Gretchen and Mindy, and nephew, John. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Carol and son, Jeremy Bucher. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2012, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631). Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Graveside services will be held at a later date at St. Richard's Cemetery.
