Jennifer L. Koberstein

Jennifer L. Koberstein passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was 56. Jennifer was born in Toledo, OH to Donald and Normillie (Witherell) Koberstein on October 10, 1967. She graduated from Woodmore High School and went on to earn her master's degree at the University of Toledo. Jennifer served in the US Air Force earning the rank of sergeant and receiving several awards, citations, and commendations, notably the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Valor and one Oak Leaf Cluster. She later worked for the Department of the Navy and enjoyed travelling.

Jennifer is survived by her father, Donald Koberstein; her brothers, Donald Koberstein Jr., Daniel Koberstein, and Joshua (Heather) Koberstein; her brother-in-law, Dan Beamer; and her nieces, nephews, and extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica; her mother, Normillie; her infant brother, David; and her sisters, Dana and Sarah.

Jennifer will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery with private services and military funeral honors. Arrangements are entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel, Oregon, OH.
