I know it's been over 10 years since John passed away, but I just learned about it and want to express my deep appreciation for the man and let his family know how much he meant to so many people.
I knew John as a Toledo church member when I served as a ministerial assistant in the early 1970's. His enthusiasm, love of life, humor, intellect, curiosity, energy and smile will always be remembered. He opened my eyes to the magic of pressure points and chiropractic. He opened his cabin for a fun but unsuccessful salmon fishing trip and his home for awesome meals and homemade whiskey.
He was a man that changed my life.
I will always fondly remember him.

Dr. Blossom was an awesome doctor who helped me through some dire times. He was a compassionate and caring person. He will be remembered and missed by many, many people.

I remember around 1999 I was getting my first adjustment from the chiropractor who had purchased dad's practice when he semi-retired. He said to me "I read a book about your dad".
That sent me into a full blown laughter attack. "My dad? Come on, somebody wrote a book about MY dad? That is hilarious!" We're from a village of 4,500 people.
I really thought it was a joke until he explained that there is a book written about my dad in the Palmer Chiropractic College Library about how dad ran his practice and how he was able to treat well over 100 patients a day and maintained that for decades.
A while after that when visiting him in Michigan I mentioned this. He was suprised to hear about it but... probably not so suprised. LOL

I waited on Dr. Jon Blossom in 1980 at Chuck Muir's Roadhouse in Toledo, OH - our encounter changed my life forever. Dr. Jon not only helped me with my health, he touched me deeply and inspired me to become a Chiropractor. I feel profoundly blessed to have known Dr. Blossom, to have had him as a mentor and to have found my true calling in life because of him. I will cherish all my memories of Jon and his family life in Montpelier and Toledo, his love of food & wine, his infectious laugh and above all his indomitable spirit.

Dr John helped me to live the kind of life I wanted to live by giving me a working body and enough education to keep it that way. He will be greatly missed. Estil Canterbury

A great Doctor and a great person. Took me through many sad times and always had a dry saying to throw at my way and make me smile. Many memories. My prayers go out to his family. He reached out to so many people who will be sadden by his passing.
