John A.
John A. Buty, age 86, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born on October 29, 1928 ,to James and Rose Buty. John was employed with Tibbits Inc. for over 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, playing the harmonica and spending time with his family and friends. John always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Minkowski; brothers, James Jr., Joseph, Francis and Robert Buty; sister, Rose Ward, and granddaughter, Laura Walker. John is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Lilly Buty; brother, Donald Buty; grandchildren, Edward Minkowski, Kimberly (Frank) Netry and Timothy Minkowski, and his 8 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests on Monday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
