Sorry to hear about this. John was a good flying club friend of my grandfather, Mel Hoeft. I remember learning how to fly model airplanes from John and others as a teenager. He will be missed.

John was the kind of person that everyone hopes will touch their lives. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend. He was always so kind and helpful. I will truly miss our talks. My heart goes out to Diane and the entire family. He was one of a kind and it was my privilege to have have known him.
