Dear Ray, Mike and Family,
My deepest condolences to each of you. May God grant you joy and strength each time you think of your parents. They were such a gift to us all at St. James and in the community.
This is such a great photo - your dad's twinkling eyes and kind smile are just as I remember them from years ago. His bright personality must be adding a glimmer to heaven.

My grandpa was a great man who loved his God, his church, his family and his country. He always had a smile for everyone and I don't think he ever met a stranger. Everyone I spoke with at the funeral home and at the funeral had nothing but nice memories. Of all the things he was to others, his most important role to me was a loving grandfather. I will miss calling grandpa's and hearing him say, "Healy residence. Peace be with you." I love you, grandpa!

To the family of Mr. Healy,

My family would like to extend our deepest sympathies to your family at this difficult time. I grew up on Nicholas, and went to St. James church. I would often run into Mr. Healy at different locations in south Toledo. He always had a BIG smile and hug for me. When I read this in the paper, I told my dad he was like the FACE of St. James to me, a very fond memory of the good old days at St. James church and festivals, and let's not forget the block parties and painting the trees white!!!!

If you were going to construct a good man, my grandpa would be a good model. He not only made time for everyone, but always put the needs of others before his own. I am lucky enough that I got to spend holidays with him and I will always remember the warm and loving place he and my grandma had on Nicholas Street when I was growing up. Another thing I will always remember is riding to their house on toboggans when a blizzard hit and knocked out our power but not grandma and grandpa's. He was a truly good man and he will be missed not only by my family, but probably by everyone whose life he touched.

Dear Barb, Mike and family,
My condolences as your Dad has entered eternal life. When we were neighbors we had a lot of fun, laughs and developed a deep friendship. These memories will be held in my heart forever.

Mr. Healy was a very good friend to my father, Kenny Reihing. The three of us spent many, many evenings during the month of May at Calvary cemetery placing flags on veterans graves there. I have so many wonderful memories of Mr. Healy. My very sincere sympathy to his family.

Barb, Mike and Laurie: I was very saddened to hear of your Dads passing. Your parents were both great people and very enjoyable to be around. I'll always remember, when visiting with your mother, how she would look at me and make comment on how much I resembled her brother and my Grandfather, Jim. I'll always remember that New York City accent your Father had and his sense of humor. Your brother Dick and your mother have been in my daily prayers. We all know they're together in heaven and spreading around that Healy/O'Connor Irish cheer!! Deepest sympathies to you all, Greg and Sue Sottek

Dear Healy Family,
John & Betty moved in to West Park Place the day before I started my employment there...he is a resident that will forever have a warm place in my heart. John had this incredible twinkle in his eye when he would talk and always had a smile. We have been missing him everyday since he left West Park Place and is often being reminisced by residents and staff. I loved it when someone would ask him, "John- how are you today?" and he would reply with a great big smile(while scarily letting go of his walker and swaying his hips from side to side) "I am very, very, very, VERY good!!!!"
Rest peacefully John, you are loved and you are missed.
