John Mysko Obituary
John R. Mysko, Sr., age 80, of Toledo, passed away on November 15, 2017. He was born on May 20, 1937 to Alex and Victoria (Nowakowski) Mysko in Toledo. John faithfully served his county in the U.S. Army. He worked for Chrysler, the Hilfinger Corporation and Keebler Bakery. John was a member of American Legion Przybylski Post 642 and Circle 8 – Alliance of Poles. He enjoyed fishing, classic cars, and watching sports especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and Michigan Wolverines games.
John was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty; his parents, and son, John R. "JJ" Mysko. He will be dearly missed by his son, Brian D. (fiancée Cori); grandchildren, Emmarsyn and Brison; sister, Christine "Dolly" (Louis) Flaczynski; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. where Scripture Services will be held at 6 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 with prayers services at 9:30 a.m. in the mortuary followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Hyacinth Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be directed to the Toledo Animal Shelter (640 Wyman St., Toledo, Ohio, 43609) or the American Cancer Society. Messages of condolences may be made at
