Dear Mr. & Mrs. Punsulan: I did not ever meet your son - but my daughter spoke of him very fondly this weekend. She will miss him at Sunshine and spoke of his love for "shoe strings". She looked up to the beautiful Sky on Friday evening and felt that John was making beautiful shoestrings out of the clouds! John and you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Punsalan Family,
I was so sad to hear about John's death. He was a special young man and I have so many fond memories of John in my classroom. Whenever I would see John he would sniff me and give me a big smile. He was a true treasure. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family as you face this time of loss.

To the Punsalan Family,
I am so saddened to hear of your loss. With a mega-multitude of words to choose from, why is it that none will come to me to help ease your sorrow? Please know that I am sorry that I was unable to attend the services in John's honor and memory ... but, know that I am keeping you all in my prayers.

A Poem For The Punsalans Family Miss Me/ But Let Go
When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me,I want no rites in a gloom/ filled room, why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little/ but not for long. Remember the love that we shared, Miss Me/ But let me go; For life is a jouruey we must all take, And each must go along, It's all apart of the Masters plan, A step on the road to home. So when you are lonely and sick at heart, Go to the friends we know, And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds. Miss Me/ But Let Me Go.

Dear Dr. and Mrs. Punsalan, I am John's former Hab. Spec. at Lott. I cannot express my sorrow at hearing about John's demise. We at Lott all enjoyed John and his boundless energy, his bubbling personality and his great smile. Unfortunately, I am unable to attend either tonight or tomorrow. Please know that John will always remain in my memories.
