Dear Fran ---
Mary Ellen notified me of John's passing tonight. So sorry to hear the sad news but I know that he is in a better place. You were always a loving wife and mother during the last 7 years or so. God love you.
I had just returned from Nebraska (Omaha/Lincoln)to assist in Irv's sister's care. She passed away on 10/2 of pancreatic cancer (81 yrs). Was glad for the opportunity to be with her during her last days. Take things slow and be grateful for the support of your sisters and children, you will need it.
My prayers are with you always.

Annette and I found the sad news of John's passing while online reading the Toledo Blade web site from our home here in North Carolina.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Sankiewicz family during this period of loss. We are so sorry we can't be with you at this time of great sadness, but our fond memories of Cousin John will forever comfort us. He was always such a happy man who treated me and my family with kindness. (remembering the fresh tomatoes brought to our home numerous times when we lived in Oregon.) We hope God will comfort you and reward you for the love and care that you bestowed upon John during his long illness.
We will make a donation as requested by the family in memory of John.
Our Best Wishes to All,
Cousin Gabe and Annette
