John Martin Stribrny

John M. Stribrny, age 60, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly, on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born on January 10, 1964, in Oregon, Ohio, to James and Rose (Byers) Stribrny. John was a 1982 graduate of Clay High School and worked as a forklift operator for over 20 years with Conagra Foods. John was a loving husband and father who enjoyed taking care of the lawn and tinkering with mechanical things. He was an avid football fan, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and Kansas City Chiefs. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

John is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Teri Stribrny; children, Dr. Brittney Stribrny and Brandon Stribrny; siblings, Paul (Gloria) Stribrny, Elaine Lloyd, and David Stribrny; sister-in-law, Jeannette Beeler; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Rose; his siblings, Chuck Beeler, Irene (Chuck) Goethals, and Carol Stribrny; and his brother-in-law, Bob Lloyd.

A memorial gathering will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Road in Oregon on Sunday, January 21, 2024, from 2-4:00 p.m. where a memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
