John Paul II
John Paul Wharry II, 57, of Perrysburg, Ohio quietly passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Paul was born in Spokane, WA on July 20, 1958, to Michael H. Emmick and Rhoda E. Emmick. He attended Grissom High School in Huntsville, AL and the University of Alabama Huntsville. He eventually secured a job with the Chrysler Corp. where he gave 30 years of dedicated service.
Paul cherished his friendships. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR races and fondly spoke of his travels, his Labrador retrievers and his time in Alaska.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Michele; his mother, Rhoda E. Wharry-Garrett; a sister, Jamie, and a brother, Michael.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Louise Bransford-Wharry, and father, Michael H. Emmick.
Paul's voice, openness and kindness will be missed. You are free now Paul, may the fishing be good and the food delicious where you are.
There will be an intimate family memorial. Donations can be made in Paul's honor to the American Cancer Society or Toledo Area Humane Society.

I´m. Very sorry to hear about paul . We lost touch back in 1993 or so when I quit Chrysler in perrysburg , oh. I went back to huntsville to pursue a career in computer things. . Paul and I were good friends at that stage of my life . We partied like rock stars for a while but I had to move onto other things. I´m sorry I fell out of touch with everybody from Chrysler . Does anybody know what happened to the other guy from huntsville that worked with Paul and myself ? I think his name was Tony . He lived with paul when we first moved to perrysburg.
