Joseph Richard "Joe"

Joseph Richard "Joe" Babcock passed this life on December 25, 2015. Joe was proud to be a Journeyman member in good standing of Boiler Makers Union Local #85, Toledo, Ohio. An accomplished mechanic and welder, Joe carried many certifications. Ever the "Git-R-Done" hard worker, he played even harder on his "MUD MACHINES", motorcycles and trucks. Joe also enjoyed hunt'n and fish'n with his "BIG AS THE GREAT OUTDOORS" personality. Joe loved his friends and would help anyone in need that he met along the way.

Family was always first with Joe, and his daughter Jolena was his most treasured and loved person in the whole world. Much loved and greatly missed, Joseph is survived by his parents, Richard Lyle and Mary Lou Babcock; brothers, Benjamen (Rose), Abraham (Jennifer) and Timothy (Jenna) Babcock and Jinny Cook with unborn child.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, January 2, 2016, after 9 a.m. at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy., where a memorial service and sharing of memories will begin at 11 a.m. Following these, a luncheon and continued time of sharing will be held at the Boilermakers Union Local #85 Hall, 319 Glenwood Rd., Rossford, Ohio.
