Joe was my grade school and high school friend that I knew from the days when he lived in Toledo on Central Avenue. We biked and hunted together throughout grade school and high school, and did other things that good friends did. Fond memories of an old but not forgotten friend.

I was surprised to see Joe's obituary. I knew him from our grade school/high school days and we "hung out" back then. I remember when he got a job with Enterprise Roofing many years ago. I lost touch, however, when my career required me to leave Toledo and I traveled the world for the next 32 years. Rest in Peace, Joe. I will always remember you as being that vibrant, young friend I knew.

Brother Joe B, I get blurry vision just thinking about you. The world lost a wonderful human being Illustrious Sir. For the short 10 years of our Friendship and Brotherhood you were always an inspiration to me and so many others. I always admired and looked up to for advice and guidance and you always gave it with sincerity, love and understanding. I never knew you to ever demand something from anyone, but I somehow could never say no to any request you asked of me. I don't believe No was a word or answer I could say to you. I believe it was because you never asked anything from someone because of need I felt it was because of teaching in your own way of instilling doing for others is what we all should be doing. Everyone knew when you walked into a room, it wasn't from hearing your voice. I believe it was because the room got brighter, and your presence proceeded your entrance. Your giving of self to others in need without expecting anything in return was an undying gift that God instilled in you and only a few have that gift. You inspired me to be a better man and a Mason. And you showered so many other people with Love, Kindness & Respect. I will always remember and cherish our talks and the times we shared together Illustrious Sir. Joe B I am so dam glad to have met you.
