Joseph Rensch Obituary

RENSCH

Joseph M.

Joseph Martin Rensch, 62, of Toledo, passed away peacefully in his residence, on Monday, July 14, 2014, with his family by his side. Joe was born in Washington, D.C. on June 11, 1952, to John Leo and Norma Jean (Grimes) Rensch.

After graduating from Waite High School in 1970, Joe joined the Marine Corps, in which he proudly served. In 1977, he started his own landscaping company, Rensch Landscape Management. He was an honest businessman and customers knew they could take him at his word. Unfortunately, his illness had recently kept him from the day to day operations. His son continues to serve the Toledo area with the same understanding of quality that goes with the Rensch Landscape Management name.

In addition to his strong work ethic, Joe had a passion for basketball. For over ten years he coached youth basketball for several organizations (East Toledo Family Center, CYO, and Sylvania Recreation). He enjoyed the opportunity to pass on his knowledge and skill of the game. His greatest joy was coaching his own two sons and watching them play

basketball.

Surviving are his loving

wife of 31 years, Cherlynn

E. "Cherree" (Huber);

sons, Matt Rensch, Joshua

(Ashley) Rensch; grandchildren, Joel and Carson Rensch; father, John Rensch; sisters, Jeri Permar, Valerie Baumbach, and Nancy Kauffman, also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his mother.

There will be no visitation. A celebration of Joe's life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014, from 2 to 6 p.m. at his home at 3152 Wilford Drive, Sylvania Township, Ohio 43617. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home is

assisting the family with

arrangements.

Deepest Condolences to the Entire Rensch Family
I've known Joe all of my life, that I can remember, starting in kindergarten. That's long enough to know that God Loves Him. Nobody could hold a wheely on a 20 inch bike longer than Joe.

To Joe's family, may he rest in peace. I don't think I ever saw him in a bad mood, always a very good positive guy. Many, many people will miss him. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Take good care.
